Braces
Fixed appliances remain the most controlled way to move roots, close large extraction spaces and correct significant bite discrepancies. Ceramic brackets reduce visibility considerably without giving up that control.
Severe crowding, impacted canines, deep bites and cases requiring extractions need root control that removable appliances cannot reliably deliver. We recommend fixed treatment when it is the honest answer.

Aftercare
Interdental brushes and a fluoride rinse are essential — decalcification around brackets is the main risk of fixed treatment. Retainers afterwards, permanently.
