The examination is where treatment decisions are actually made. We chart every tooth, measure gum pockets, take the radiographs your history justifies, photograph what we find and screen the soft tissues. You leave with a written plan and the images, not a verbal summary.
Second opinions are common in dentistry because plans are often given verbally. A documented examination lets you compare, question and decide — including deciding to do nothing for now.
